Where to start:
Before you start the adoption process, you need to find out if the White Swiss Shepherd is a breed for you and your family. The White Swiss Shepherd is an excellent family dog, however when he is a puppy, he is not very delicate, so you have to be careful with young children. The White Swiss Shepherd is part of the shepherd dogs, he needs the presence of his master, to have attention & to be stimulated so as not to get bored. Puppies have more energy until around 15 months old, then they calm down, but they still need to move every day. They are also excellent working dogs very versatile in several sports, they stand out more in scent detection, agility, obedience, tracking, IGP, herding, but also as a service dog (therapy).

Important
The Swiss White Shepherd is a sensitive dog that can become very close to his master, which is why it requires excellent socialization that we start here from birth ( Puppy culture & Avidog program ), however you must continue at home! We highly recommend taking a kindergarten class as well as basic obedience! It's an excellent way to develop a good bond with your dog, to learn the basics and to solidify them and to socialize in a supervised way. I invite you to inform yourself about the breed and if you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us. With birth comes growth; desensitization to animals, to humans (children and adults), to different noises, to the interior and exterior environment. Throughout the process you have access to photos and videos of the puppies.  At the age of 6 weeks, we invite families to come and meet the puppies.

Allocation of puppies
For the choice of puppies, we always reserve the first choice since the goal is to improve our breeding. Then, for the allocation to each family, we decide which puppy will go with which family, because we want to make the best possible team between the puppy and the new family. According to each temperament and each family need, we try to create the perfect match. The allocation of puppies is made around the age of 8 weeks.  We perform Avidog's APET test with every puppy to help us make the best matches possible!

Adoption
We have a waiting list between 1-2 year. We have one to two litters per year maximum. Our females have a maximum of 3 litters in their life, then they are sterilized and live a wonderful retirement.

To proceed, we invite you to read our entire website.  Then, you must fill out our Pre-adoption form here and send it to us by email (elevagesilversnow@outlook.com):

(If you're on a phone or tablet, you need to download the app  WORD )

(The form does not guarantee you a reservation)

If we see a match following the form, we plan a telephone meeting, and then a meeting with you in order to get to know you better. The choice of families for our puppies is very important, we do not accept just anyone.

We ask for 250.00$ deposit to be on our waiting list in order to have serious families who are ready to wait for their puppy.  Following the ultrasound, we will contact people who are on our waiting list. On the other hand, when we add your name to the list we ask that your approach be serious and notify us as soon as possible if you want to be removed from the list. We don't have a priority list, we go by temperament with the game in the family. We will keep in touch with you throughout the process, we like it when families stay involved with us during the process.
